i wasn't paid for the photoshoot and i didn't know he was going to use the pics to sell stuff . at least they left my sig on the border, and it doesn't look like they edited out the bbs in the pics that i did take (but i'm using my laptop and i can't really tell anyway).

That's f'ed! Can they even do that? Take your pics, edit them, and then use them for marketing and sales purposes? It's different than personal use, isn't it?

i'm not too concerned about it. the pics were in the buyer's show off section and the owner submitted the pics. different story if they took the pics from my flickr, chopped off my border and sig, claimed it was their pic, and showed it in the main page.

i don't know if you guys remember the sti below. it was used in many magazine and internet ads between 2003-2004 by discount tire. well, that was my buddy's sti and his pic. he didn't get any compensation from discount tires

(minus the gay motivation border)

yeah, that's nothing compared to how many ads they ran, and they started using the pic without his permission. $500 will get him 2 tires

Yup pretty much. The company that makes those wheels is the same company that makes Rotas I believe. The BBS LM knock-offs are pretty good looking imo..

I would still never put BBS or Volk stickers on knock-offs. I consider that rice, or the dude is a complete tool.

Time to put Type-R badges and Nismo badges on my car.
