I quit this game cuz I took over my life for 9 months, hella fun game but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has an addictive personality.

I quit a similar game (Silkroad Online) and yeah it took over my life for 13 months....it was the most retarded thing ever and it took me another year JUST to recover from it. It consumes your life! MMOs addiction is no joke. I would hate to see more people lose things they love over another MMO.

 

hehe yeah i think he recently started to play again cuz he asked me about using my account/email for reactivation or something.

 

I work in IT so it should be no surprise that I am a dork and I play this.

I used to be in to the whole raiding thing but when I quit this game about a year and a half ago I cashed out and sold my accounts It paid for my new computer entirely though so that was pretty cool.

My buddies sucked me back into it for the expansion so I had to start over fresh. luckily they have a refer-a-friend thing where you get 3x the exp, so I already have a 60 (a week later) waiting to level with my buddies death knight this weekend. wee!

I play on Hyjal, doubtful any of us play on the same server though :/

I was out there a couple times on business last year. Bricktown was cool and then there was some bar on the other side of town with a full size rodeo cage inside it...had a wet T contest....too much fun. Domestics were only $1 and my boss got fubar!!!

Sorry...back to WOW.
