Saturday will feature cloudy skies with scattered rain/mix showers with snow levels starting the day around 500 feet.
However, by midday, arctic air will begin filtering in from the north, dropping snow levels to sea level from north to south. This could also trigger an arctic front that might drop 1-3" of snow across the lowlands. This represents our best chance for widespread snow around here. Highs in the mid 30s will drop to the upper 20s by late evening.
