Ever since i picked up my Rwd car a few years ago i have always been happy and not looked back. But with the start of the winter rush i parked the Z and pullled out the FWD Murano and Kia, no worries about sliding around the freeway and sliding off the on ramps. I did see a black z trying to make it back on 1-5 by Seattle going really slow, saw it parked on the side later in the day. Saw a G35 getting put on a flatbead too, dang. It's amazing how i see all the rwd trucks driving like god on the freeway only to see them spun out a few miles later. Anyone taking thier RWD car out?
A modified VQ35HR is my daily driver in the "Ohio tundra" haha. I've driven it in snowstorms before. Only had a problem once where I almost hit another car due to spinning out on an icy bridge, but I learned from my mistake and decided it's better to have hummer's riding your a@@ because you are going slow rather than risk my life to get somewhere 30 seconds earlier. Other than that, just driving safe on the snowy roads, WOT on the plowed ones, and having fun in empty Jo-Ann Fabrics parking lots
I drive my Z as my Daily Driver, but Haven't driven it in a week. I am looking for a second 4WD vehicle for weather conditions like this and for the mountain.
Chains on a z, anyone got a picture of? or any experience with? kinda curious as to how much snow would get packed in the wheel wells, and the drivability.
prolly work ok till one of the chains let go and destroyed the paint. i love it when i see those who don't care (or maybe don't know) and just keep on driving!

i hear you on that, was following a trailer with chains on that broke and it made that clapping noise, like wet booty.

a guy posted a picture of his chains in the main 350Z discussion forum
Get the Xterra its cheaper, same drivetrain. I needed the Pathfinder for the 3rd row seating.. It gets around like a champ in this weather we are having in Seattle, like 14" at my house right now and roads are unplowed!
It snowed a lot here as well, got 1/2 inch thick ice over the foot of snow. I'll definitely look into the Xterra. They are having great deals right now! Thank You Sir for the advice!
