i did everything correctly... sand.. prime... paint.. clear... all with ample amount of time for curing in proper temperatures.. the the only chips i see are from this snow storm. but that's because i curbed hardcore

The Vossen wheels seem to be gaining popularity with G37 owners, kind of like Sevas with G35's & 350Z's. Similar wheels in that they're lower priced, have good looking styles/finishes, and ok fitments. Just hope the quality stands up over time.

Vossen wheels are nothing like Sevas. They are forged wheels, Sevas are crappy cast wheels.

Are they really forged? I didn't see anything on their website that mentions anything about forging? I do know they're all 1pc, so they use fake rivets to create a multi-piece look.

Ah my mistake, they make both a Forged line & a cast line. I was looking at the VF-082 which are different from the VVS-082.

those are definitely cast. One advantage to these wheels over sevas is they use a stainless steel lip rather than the chroming that sevas uses.
