i want to modify my exhaust, do you guys know any shops that will do a quality job at a decent price?

Bucks is pretty legit. I know Speedware does exhaust, but I bet they'll charge you up the ***.

Stan's headers in Auburn is pretty good. Nice guy.

 

thanks for the heads up, i'll give them a call in a bit i just don't want to take it to world one or one of those other tuner shops cause i know they charge up the butt

 

Performance Exhaust in sumner!!! a friend of mine owns it, let him know i sent you and you are guarenteed to get a kick *** deal and AWSOME work....i wouldent take my car anywhere else...

they do more then just exhaust too...we are doing my turbo kit there and my whole exhaust will also be redone there

 

I had Dan Fast in Bellevue install an exhaust for me on a previous car, that involved some custom welding and custom piping. They did good work.

 

i took my gti there for work and they did a great job

 

that's where i took it after work and got it done for $75 otd. quality looks good too but haven't had a chance to crawl under the car. only qualm i have with them is that on the invoice they wrote that i own a suburu impreza rs, so i don't know how that works out if i ever have to go back for warranty work...

Stan's Headers is the most expensive place in the NW.. The good thing is that they are one of the only shops that does mandrel bending..

I went to Sumner's Topgun muffler and brake shop.. The best thing about them is that they will do the job till you feel satisfied. . . They don't do mandrel bends, but they do cut and weld already mandrel bent pieces' The owner works on custom 4x4 rock crawler trucks mostly.. I believe he wants to broaden his market to imports. . so he treats imports really good' prices are decent'

 

Are they more expensive than Speedware? They told me they did mandrel bending there and they were gonna charge me up the butt. Hey at least they told me first!!

 

Stan's is well known for their work.. I called multiple shops before getting my work done and they all know Stans for being the most expensive... The good thing is that Stan's been doing it the longest in the NW.. If I ever make a full custom system, I will go to Stans

 

Good thread. I want to add a Magnaflow resonated X pipe and a new magnaflow muffer to my borla. If I can't make it a slip fit, I'll have to get it welded. I don't want to mess with changing up my wire and gas to weld SS.

my family and i have been taking our cars to dan fast mufflers for a long time. no complaints from us.

 

Can Dan Fast weld 304 SS? I assume he can as most of you guys are probably on SS exhausts anyway.
