Angry I might have to leave the Z community.

Well guys, as title says I might have to leave the Z community. Basically what happened was my mother hasn't been paying the car payments since December of 2008. I've been giving her the right amount of money monthly, to pay for the car and she obviously fails at paying payments because this has happened to her car last year . So now the bank/loan company took the car off my drive-way (the only night I don't park my car in the drive way). Yes I've already bitched at my mom for using MY money else where and not paying off the car. So now I have 10 days to re-finance or payoff the car. Well end of my rant, wish me luck. I'm just glad my car didn't get stolen and put in a ditch with missing parts.

thats pretty grimey. Only saving grace i guess is if she used it to pay for the house and not on herself. I guess you should take responsibility and take care of it yourself from now on. ****ed up that she didnt say anything to you.

That's what makes me even more mad, because my Dad pays for the house so I don't know where my money has been leaking. If this works out I'm going to take over payments for my car, and pay for it myself. Not trusting anyone with my car payments anymore.

Why would you want or even expect to have your Mom pay the car pymnt ?

Don't you have a bank acct or checking acct. ?

Just seems weird that she would steal from her own son !

What did she do with it ? Have you confronted her ?

Yes I have, I talked to her over the phone about it because I'm currently at school. Yes I do have my own bank/checking account. I guess she was just trying to help me out a little and get some load off my shoulders because of school and such... I mean I thank her for thinking of the amount of school work I have and is willing to do some payments for me, but seriously how hard is it to make a payment?

I still don't know what she did with it, she claims she did pay my car payments with the money I've been giving her.... So before I jump to conclusions that she was stealing from me I'm going to go over this with my bank. When this is all resolved I'm definitely taking over car payments. If this doesn't work out she owes me a new car.

Even if the car is under your moms name you can still make payments by mailing the check yourself or by online banking. Too bad about your z, can't believe they would take it after only a month.

How is giving his money to his Mom paying HIS bill?

Its not. It's giving money to his mom so she can pay HIS bill for him.

Trust no one.

I would of much rather have my car stolen then have it repo'd because payments weren't made. Not only you got re-po'd, now your credit looks F#4k'd up, or whoevers name its under.

Yeah, my first nice car was half in my mom’s name for credit purposes. I still sent the payment directly to capital one though.

automatic payments ftw? I would have done it that way as I have for cars in the past, but I got a lower APR for signing up for it (half a percentage, went from 6.25 to 5.75% or something, not bad for a used car loan)

Thank god my car isn't under my name.

After checking my Mom's bank statement it looks like she has been paying payments, payment of $248 were made to the Loan Company every month. So I don't know what happened there. What can I do about this?
