For Sale: 68 Camaro RS
OverZealous1 is right.
That's a car you'll want to hang on to and fix up.
I still have my first muscle car I ever purchased back in 1982.
A 1968 Chevelle SS396.
I'll probably be buried in it. LOL.
I love it when I meet someone and they say they wish they still had some car from back in high school.
I just smile and say "I do. Wanna go for a ride?"
Pro-built. 667whp 10-second quarter mile

my one qualm is that the car will sit for a long while before I am ready to start restoring. but hell, its over 40 years old at this point, what's a few more?
I am still hearing and entertaining offers, I am not decided. hard decision to make. I was fully prepared to let it go until I fired it up and heard it again. that sound is intoxicating.

alright its definitely for sale. I've thought it over, just got nostalgic starting it up again.
I'll buy a project car down the road when I have money floating around, for now, the Z is more then enough.

you should wait til the good guys car show this summer. you could probably make an extra 1k if you take it there. only down side is you gotta pay to enter it and you have to stay there and check out clean *** cars all day.
if he is already making an offer for 7k, i'm pretty sure you will have it sold for 7.5. negotiating 101, lol.
i'm just hoping the guy doesn't know how to work on stuff and i get to build/restore it! that would be kinda funny.

He likes it, but he had a buddy advise him against it due to the rust spots. He said he's comfortable taking on the work but isn't comfortable dealing with the rust and feels like he would be paying someone else to take care of it, and it would get costly.
I gave em as many pictures as I could so he knew exactly what he was getting. He's thinking it over and making some more phone calls to see what costs he is looking at, but I don't think he will be buying.
