hard to tell until starting to try and fit the kit to the car. some fall on with little to no mods, some take 50+ hours to get perfect.
were you looking to do a full color change or same color, just repainting. makes a BIG difference if the jambs need to painted too. in that scenario, the whole car comes apart and even the hinges will be perfect.

if your talking just the outside portions, i am gunna say about $700-1000. everything i paint i color sand and buff out, which is where about 5 hours of labor is.

yeah start that again. just take your off to make the jigs. that'd be more profitable for you than hoping someone wants a body kit put on, plus i want one.

actually, body work is very profitable. 95% labor compared to materials, lol. enjoy the engine work the most though.
the profit margin was pretty low on the exhausts. WAY to much work involved to make. not quite as easy as making jigs off mine and poof, done. atleast an investment of $4k to fire it back up and would have to sell one a day (everyday) to make it even worth the time involved. considering i only sold about 15-20 in a year, it's not gunna happen . if i owned the equipment, that is a different story. i have been looking though for milling equiment and the right bender. then it would be worth it. if i get those, i would never sleep and i would have hundreds of products in about a month, hahaha.
who knows what the future holds. i keep getting every construction job that calls me and now my lead time is starting to grow again. a big job or 2 and it will be back to 2-3 months.
i will be getting a nicer commercial space soon though and will taylor it more to a professional shop space. gunna go look at one tomorrow.
