I ended up going to helzberg in portland yesterday. the one I picked out is certified and I saw the serial number on it and all that jazz, and in the vs2 category so its pretty good quality. I struggled to find any flaws under the microscope even. just have to wait a month or 2 since I had to special order her size, blah!

the drive down saved me a lot on tax, but it did take up the better half of Saturday. oh wells.

it was the Helzberg shop inside of the WA square mall. 503-670-7885. the lady I worked with was named Tiffany and she was pretty pleasant to deal with.

this is the ring I picked out, needs some time to be created in a size 5 rather then getting it resized. the center stone is vs2 and you would be hard pressed to find any flaws under the microscope.. I looked around for 2 minutes before giving up and asking the lady to show them to me!

lol xtrm, I already got another friend in trouble .. his ladies been egging him on to propose and he doesn't want to until he's 30 (5years!), this kind of sparked her to hound him about it again, sigh, women!

btw .. hate the speed limits in Oregon! drove like 80mph there the entire way then when I finally reach it, I have to go 50! :P
