Default Oil change, where?

Car is low, where to change oil?

I would take it to Nissan of the Eastside because they are 1 minute from my house but that place is a Cluster Fu(K and a half. Its too damn low for any other place that i know of. Maybe i'll see if I can just use the lift at carnutz, I have no idea?

All of that nonsense aside, I go to Infiniti of Kirkland and haven't had any issues.

Lev, consider buying your own filter and oil of choice and just take your car to Jiffy Lube, they do mine , no lift , no problem and they only charge me labor.

I don't think we are worried about the oil change... its the damage to the bodykits that sit an inch or two off the ground.

Jiffy Lube is a bad idea... I took my 2008 honda civic si that i had there and smelled oil on the drive home, so I checked the filter and it was very loose then i looked at the drain plug and it was finger tight, so I would recommend NOT taking your car to Jiffy lube!!!

stage performance in kirkland does mine...never had an issue there. They are very used to lowered cars, and drive the car up on ramps before putting it on the lift. You can bring your own oil and filter, or they have them there as well. IIRC they carry redline, mobil1, amsoil, etc for oils and same with filters.

Ahh, truthfully I never considered that. The couple of JL's that I frequent have pits instead of lifts. I've used the one in Kirkland across from Discount Tire a number of times, they usually remember my name.

My car is low too, especially with the kit, so I can't fit a jack underneath either. I just made a couple "ramps" by sawing a few pieces of 2x4's which I then stacked and nailed together to make a step. I just drive the front or rear onto those, and then I can get the jack underneath.

Here's my two bits:

Be a man (or half a man) and diy.

Too many horror stories i've heard about jiffy lube and places like that.

Took Honda Accord to Renton Honda and they cross threaded the drain bolt. When we confronted them, they said there's no proof and that I could have done it.

Places like Jiffy Lube don't drain completely.

As someone said already, they don't tighten down all the time.

Too many issues in trusting others to do a simple job. They hire high school kids that don't give a krapp or just ppl who don't give a krapp.

I just put 4 nails in from the top evenly spaced in a rectangule. Also a couple nails up from the bottom in the middle. I made it after I got the bodykit on, and it has held up through quite a bit of use in the past 9 months. I'm happy w/my free ghetto ramps.
