I talked with the guy who was driving the yellow 370Z this weekend on the Mt. St. Helens drive. He stated that his Z was listed on the lot for $45,600. After all the deals were worked out he got a "$25,000" trade in on his 2008 2 door Nissan Altima to be applied towards a $40,000 sale price on the 370Z. He said the difference was only $15,000.

I prefer auto with manual mode.

The interior is sick , I didn't mod my 350Z. I am pretty sure I'd like to mod the engine for sure on this one. I really wish the exhaust sound was like the deep throaty 350Z.

Fair enough.

Some epic wheelfitment on that car would be sick, and agreed the 350z stock exhaust does sound better imo. Wonder why they did that....

There are two yellows 370's in the lot at Beaverton Nissan. I bet you they were asking $45,600 because of the color. He should've bargained down towards invoice. But getting a $25,000 trade in for his Altima is pretty good.

Also, thanks again for all the comments. I also dig the interior. Any of you guys know of a good product to keep those kind of seats in tip top shape? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Interior is dope. I love that burn orange color. Are you going to mod it at all? At least tint the windows. Maybe even Pcode the wheels.

side note: manual tranny will never become obsolete as long as there is demand for them. They are cheaper to produce, so bottom end cars will offer them for the frugal. And car enthusiasts will demand them in sports cars, hell even semis.

oh and congrats!

Went to manual and never want to go back to an AT unless it's my daily driver or a luxury car - all my sports cars will be in manual!

Love the color choice and sweet ride regardless.

good point. I'll probably mod it later. I would mostly like to spend money on performance. I tinted my 350Z last year and it looked great! Not so sure about the platinum graphite with tint.

Don't talk about DD with me I drove my Evo from Woodinville to Seattle almost every single day from May of 08 to August of this year. I know all about traffic and blah blah blah And the Evo's stock clutch (esp. the MR's 6spd) is like a Nismo equivalent. Bumpinjeep had driven it before - he knows. I did that for 25k miles - I kid you not - in those 14 months. So yeah it's nothing new here.

When I was debating what coupe to get back into, I was eyeing the 335i and for a second thought..hmmmm maybe I could go AT to make it easier to find a car (335i in manual rare) - that immediate moment is when my girlfriend slapped me and woke me up. Thank God.

I'm not saying it's you're in the same situation, I merely state that I personally don't prefer my sports cars in auto - I did that when I bought my first Z - ended up selling it a year later to go for a manual (the Evo) and when I came back to a Z I went 6spd.
