Default What the military can do for you...

For those of you who don't really know what the military does for you on a daily basis... FOR SHAME! But, here is just one sweet benefit of being where I am.

I have an auto hobby shop that I can work in for WAYYYYYYYYY cheap... its even got its own spraying booths and welding shop!

If you guys want to do crap to your car, yourself... I can sponsor your car on base.

What's the catch? No catch here, for realz, aside from the fact you have to drive up to Oak Harbor... but 6 bucks an hour for a lift is pretty awesome!

Anyway, here is what you'll need to get on base...

VALID drivers license
VALID proof of insurance

Of course you'll have to then call me/email/pm me to try and work out a time/day...

Anywho... just thought I would throw out there how the military rules hardcore **** style.

Some things never change, do they? When I was in the Army during the 1960's, they had fully equipped auto hobby shops for us to use. It was a good thing.

Hey I wanna use the spray booth before you head back to the desert! Do they have the guns and compressors? Or do I need to bring mine?

Bring your own spray stuff, only because unqualified people tend to screw stuff up, and then the hobby shop has to pay to fix it... but yeah, thats all you need, and 25 bucks a day for the booth.

Long Beach Naval Station had a decent auto shop too. I remember using the lift there for something like a dollar per hour. We could leave our cars inside the fence for $1 a day or something like that.
