I have a complete stock clutch and stock flywheel, cheap, in perfect shape.
We may be able to work something out, 350Z's are easy to work on.
If you were concerned it is the easiest clutch to change with the most room around the transmission I've seen in 30 years of working on cars. A good clutch with a quality, not aluminum, flywheel will cost about $800-850. New stock flywheel is big bucks.
The only hard part is the tranny weight is 147# dry. Repositioning the tranny on the jack laying on creepers with car on jack stands was a grunt. Went in easy and stayed balance on standard floor jack for whole install.
What is the symptoms of your clutch problems your having?

Whenever it is hot out, the clutch pedal goes to the floor. Still drivable, but the pedal just flops up and down... Still engages, but it goes from having a full pedal of pressure to 2 inches at the bottom. It can really throw you for a loop if it decides to to it while "spirited driving" around corners...
It's been in the dealership for 5 days total now over the past 6 months, 2 days the last week.
There telling me the teeth on the pressure plate are worn and fatigued (sp). When they get hot, they dont hold as well, Z Only has 48,000 miles.
They have fully inspected the rest of the system completely, more than once. Have driven it quite a bit... Course it hasnt done it for them... Stop and go traffic, it does it for me every time, if it's warm out. They swear it's not the master cylindar.
They just had a 2007 z come in with the same issue... only 17k miles...

Probably boiling the fluid in the line, Change to Motul. I believe there was problems with the systems when they first went to internal slave cylinders, also.
Your saying the disengagement point drops very low but your clutch is still holding well?
If this is the case its not flywheel, pressure plate, or disk.
Hydraulic system problem is my bet.
I bet the dealer is wrong about most everything!!!!!
If it external slave cylinder then I can prove whats wrong with no disassembly.

Maybe I need to go somewhere else to have it looked at...
I just find it hard to believe that a car with 48,000 miles has random clutch issues... It's even more strange that they dont see it more often.
