Just wanted to thank all the local members that have helped me in making decisions and advice when searching things for my car. Unfortunately i went another route and got rid of the Z.



got another Z with the color i originally wanted.







Honestly i like the styling of the new 370z, but i like the response of my 350, With the 2way lsd and Stance coilovers i feel that it has more power. In reality i know that the 370z is faster, but i'll wait till after break in to open it up a little more.

hey, congrats man. hope your trade in was decent - so hard to sell a car privately these days.

 

I don't regret trading in my 06. The 370z feels slower from a stop but it is faster than a 350z.

Don't worry about the way it drive stock. All you need is exhaust, maybe intake and ecu tune . Don't underestimate potential of VQ37!! You will be surprized with the hp/trq/response gain!! I envy you....

Trust me, once you get past the break-in, you'll be able to see the power. Lot better low-end torque.

thank guys, just a heads up and an FYI that gave me a WTF? are you serious expression at the dealership that is not usually mentioned was, Did you know that an oil change for the 370z's, 2010 Maximas and GTR's are starting at $100? Yeah i know, i'll bend over later.

 

yep. they 'require' ester oil because of overheating issues.

you can buy it yourself online and change your own oil.

.. or you can run whatever oil you want and keep it off of the track : P

 

they offered me lifetime oilchanges for free when i went in and looked at a nismo 370 : O

 

They only "suggest" ester oil. It's not required. They tried that for a short time and would imagine a lot of owners pitched a fit. I had them use standard oil on my last change. $35 was a lot easier to swallow than $94.

 

Should've gave me them coilovers. Is your old Z at Younkers? Eastside? I'm about to go there and steal those coils. haha

Congrats on the 370Z, I am still kinda gettin used to the looks of the newest evolution of the Z car. Couldn't you find a color that really screams at the cops, "CHECK ME OUT, I LOOK LIKE I AM SPEEDING."

 

yup, thats my old car at Younkers, Renton. Would you hapen to know the price their re-selling it at? just curious. Sorry didn't take off the coils or lsd, didn't have the time to take it off unfortunatley. I love red cause it pops out, i dont drive fast anymore so im not too worried about it. thanks for all the responses guys!
