Personally, I think the pig nose is alright... but that hatch needs to go. Reminds me of those rare/limited 240sx hatches or the back of the 350z roadster with the top up, how it's just flat... It just doesn't look right on a coupe, kind of ruins the body line of the whole car IMO. AND yes why the red antenna? If you want stripes on the side of your car, do it right and get the Nismo decal you put on the side, like Wasuber had on his Z. I'd sell the hatch, and with that money get coilovers and spacers. Oh, not feeling the whole Time-Attack thing on your front windshield.
Jeeze, has anyone noticed the whole Time-Attack color scheme got overplayed very fast? It still looks good, but shieeet

LOL at your car!!!!!!!!! You are getting suggestions, and you think people are admiring your car?! Dude, people buy Nismo not to enhance the aesthetics in the particular areas you have done it. You buy a nismo b/c you like the looks and the handling! You should have bought a cf hood and left the rest of the car look the way it was. Lower it, and improve the handling and the overall look. Less is more. This hatch is hideous on this particular car. my 0.2 cent. Don't get upset at me. I am just pointing out the reality.

Out of curiosity ... why do people buy the NISMO edition? More than 99% of the ones i have seen bought end up with different rims, suspension and exterior mods. What is the point, why not buy a base or touring model??
Good:
1. White Nismo FTW!
2. Bumper nostrils look good imo.
Bad:
1. Pinstripes were out a long time ago.
2. VIS and Amsoil stickers gotta go.
3. Red antenna, WTF?
4. Hatch, me no likey!
Needs:
1. Definitely need to drop that sucker
2. Get wider rims or add spacers to fill the gap.
3. I don't think a carbon hood is not necessary. But would look better than the CF hatch.

The story and the plan!
Ok people, thank you all for being moderatly kind with the coments considering all the different style's and standards.
we are all enthusiasts and personaly I've been in love with nissan since I came to the states!
I started off with a 240sx and got just about everything I needed to swap out for an rb20det (please dont tell me that I shoud have gone with this or with that) you will eventualy see that I like to do what is not the standard.
S**t happened and the project was sold. I've always dreamed of costumizing a nissan, wheather it was a 280z 240sx or 300, but never thought I would end up with a 08 nismo. Financialy things were looking up and the time came to get a ride. Went to the dealer to buy a base 370z and the guy sold me a 08 nismo for the price of a base 370z, (would u pass that up?) I enjoyed the car for a yr stock and then I started to do stuff that was unecesary but it gave me something to do. Now just receantly I got a tad more seriouse about the hook up and this is the plan!
This carbon creation's wing:
This cf hood:
A set of coils, a set of wider lighter rims, cf doors (inside and out) paint doors back to white, and then go to power. Have not made up my mind about sup or turbo! (cross that bridge when i get to it!
I know everyone would do it in some way differently and it would look great either way, but this is my style and the time-atack window vinal stays. lol!

As long as you understand that the standard formula is " Form follows Function".

I would have gone with the 370Z and spent my money making it better, instead of getting a Nizmo Z and spending my money to make it worse.

I understand the benefits of wieght saving by using some carbon fiber parts. Especially on the hatch. I like the style of that hatch but it definately needs to be painted. I'm not a fan of CF parts smattered all over the place. As Zimo said " Less is More ". At the most, maybe the CF hood and the wing. (( Personally, I would paint the wing also. ))
And go Turbo when you get to that bridge.

I went with the 350 because imo it looks better than the 370. (imo)

And in order for the cf hatch to look right painted it would need bondo coating and that would defeat the purpose of weight savings on a $700 hatch. I'm doing cf on top only, giving it that top half dark look and keeping the rest pearl white. At least thats the plan for now.
