Is anyone else going to this? I was thinking about going if the weather's not crap. I don't plan to enter any competitions; I just feel like getting out of the house. This used to be the Golden Garden meet that would drive local LE crazy every year.

Auto-X, Drift, Drag and car show. All Nissans and Datsuns.

 

This sounds like a good time. Once I fix my car, I might be interested in this.

 

I'm curious to know what the auto-X is like. Has anyone here participated in it? What is the format for NissanFest? Is there classing like NWR-SCCA and WWSCC or is it pretty much one class anything goes?

 

All they say about the Auto-X is:

We're bringing back the Auto-x for a second year at Nissanfest, this year will feature a slightly different track layout and early morning runs. We're limiting this to 20 drivers with a cash prize to the fastest time of the day! Come out and see if you can beat the field!

Anyone going to show their car?

 

If I can get the stuff done I want to, before the date, then I may show off a little bit of Bet-Z. Never been in a car show before!

 

Over the Holidays, I went to Griot's Garage in Tacoma and spent about $450 on a polisher, polishes, waxes, etc. I was thinking about doing a full meal detail on the car on the 12th and 13th of April. I'm not too sure sure about showing the car though. Everything's basically stock except the stereo.

 

I would definitely drive from pdx for that

 

I used to live like an hour away! Always missed it though cause work
