Very Nice Kyle!

So you've got Nismo wheels, exhaust, anything else?

hi kyle,

just curious..are you from georgia or just pick your car up there? I'm a southern transplant myself, grew up close to the ATL.

my advice for first time tracker:
when you're out there don't let the person in front or behind you 'drive' your car - meaning drive at your own pace and learn the line and your car first. the people who start off the slowest usually end up the fastest. not saying you won't be fast, but i sure wasn't my first track experience.

also, seca is a heavy braking track, so watch your rear brakes just keep checking after each session along with re-torqueing your wheels.

I'd join you, but i don't think i can get off work

I'll look forward to hearing your impression after driving seca. You couldn't have picked a better car for tracking, there's nothing like a Z! have fun!

p.s.
clubz.org may have link to a track map...not sure

dp33-born and raised in the burbs just north of A-town. heading back over the holidays for a few days too how 'bout you? also, thanks for the track advice! i'll definitely let you know how it went.

daveh, lemansZ, and whatever - see you all there. i can't wait.

dimebag - that's it for now. thinking about brakes and/or suspension for the next step. really want to move in the track direction as the time passes...

yes! another georgian! well, not sure how long you've been here, but i'll go ahead and welcome you to california anyway. I'll be heading back to GA the holidays in a few weeks myself. I can't wait, i need my waffle house fix. Unfortunately, i have no z to drive while i'm there. I tried to talk one of my family members into buying a roadster..no luck yet.

have an awesome time at the track. dennis and the others can show you the ropes. say hi to dennis for me, you'll prolly see him before i do and we work in the same building

okay, got tape for numbers and a tire pressure gauge. what else do i need?

planning on bringing my video camera but not sure how to secure it in the car...anyone have any ideas? duct tape and a tripod?

also, best place to buy a helmet in the santra cruz/san jose area?

so, from this thread it seems like it's gonna be:

kyle
lemanz
daveh

you want to mount your camera on a bar between the two head rest... would not recommend duct tape or tripod inside the car... can be very dangerous

any motorcycle helmet would do.

look forward to see u tmrw!

look for my McGuyver special camera mount tomorrow.
It must be securely mounted or they won't let you out on track.

Default Another Sunny day at Laguna Seca!!

Sunny + hot track + grip + TMR = Very fast corner speed...

What can i say.... 150 mi of track time / 10 mpg x $6 per gallon = Ching ching!!

Good to see some new faces, stev and kyle, some oldbie.. ***** and dave!!

I think i broke the 2 minute lap time... at least in my mind

Had to buy some pic and took some while driveing... not recommended!

stay tuned!

*****, i have the info but at home... this guy's photo is ok... i have several blurry shots... I guess one good one is worth the $$
