I think stock Z would be better since it would be a lot cooler (temperature) than any metal you'll have near your engine.

Yea, I think like that too. But I heard the Nismo Z tube is aluminum. It gives better air flow.

Point is metal tube will get much hotter than plastic thus heating the air flowing through it and on into your plenum. Stay with the stock Z tube idea for your G, IMO. You might like the JWT POP Charger at the end of it too. I love it!! You can get a good price for the JWT from Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, TX. And you can do that from their web site. That's what I would do anyway.
