Anyone want to do a Speedring? This weekend or sometime next week?

 

Did speedring re-open? Last I heard, they were closing down.

 

See how long it's been. I just tried calling and the number is busy- but their website is still live. We can do Gokartracer in Burlingame if Speedring is indeed closed down.

Yeah, Speedring's lease was up a couple months ago, and they weren't going to re-open, according to the mailing list e-mail I got.

FYI, GoKartRacer combine 2 tracks only on Monday.

OK I can't do it next weekend (2nd and 3rd) so we can either try to get in this weekend or sometime next week. So what works best for everyone- Saturday night (26th- if it's not booked) or Monday night (28th) on the Supertrack or Tuesday night (29th)?

Place will be Gokartracer (http://www.gokartracer.com/home.html). I've never been so I'm not sure how the layout works. Is it better to drive the combined track or are the shorter tracks cool?

I can't do next weekend as well, so I'm down for any time this weekend.

 

I'm down so long as it's on the weekend. This weekend works for me & if we do it this weekend, I may bring an additional person.

 

I did the half track with the elevation change.... compare with speedring, I still think speedring is better.
so with combine track, I'm sure this place will rock!!

 

I forgot Sunday is Easter. My wife may have tentative plans for us on Sunday. How does this affect everyone elses weekend?
