Default Gas $3.11, 19th Ave, SF

Chevron Station @ 19th Ave before 280 South!

When you get to the Sunset Dist, it gets "down" to $2.79.

Can anyone top $3.11 in your area????

We should get some relief in the next few weeks... Oil futures have gone down from Monday's high of $58 per barrel to $52 today.... If we can get to $45 a barrel, we'll be back to the $2.30ish range.

Shoot... $3.05 is the highest I've seen in the East Bay so far, but SF prices being higher is no surprise... ESPECIALLY that Chevron you're talking about :ripoff:

You actually might find gas cheaper on the interstate 5 freeway from SF to LA. Last Christmas, I found that 91 was cheaper on interstate 5 than it was in my local area, usually its the other way around.

Just a bump to show you guys how much we used to think "Ripped off" was.

$3.11 a gallon? If that was today I'd leave work right now to fill up lmao.

Two years later, and 100 octane is only $6.29/gal at the 76 on Almaden/Foxworthy. 100 ftW.

The OPEC President Chakib Khelil says we could hit $170 a barrel this summer... That means gas will probably be in the $7.00 range for 91 (at least in the Bay Area)! Ouch!

This morning futures did hit $143, however, we've "settled" a bit at $140

Throw in some inflation and our crappy dollar and we're in for a whole lot of hurt in the next 6 - 18 months...
