I don't know GTNPU_Z, if I remember, his wheels are pretty dark (my camera may have done a little darkening based on the lighter subject). I am sure different chrome shops and different manufactures have different ideas about how "black" black chrome is. If I remember correctly, on that particular day, Longbowe's wheels (and the rest of the car) were spotless. So talk to your chromer and ask for samples. Also, make sure they treat the wheels (is it acid etching, something like that) before they chrome or the chrome will crack down the road.

Actually in some lights it looks as shiny as chrome, but with a darker aura. Let me know if you want to see it in person some time.

Had mine done in SoCal by Raceline Wheels. (They sent it out????) No noticable side effects due to weight. Very eye catchy. Pix at www.wcsl.org/z

Wow! That is definitely Zexy!!!

So is that actually "chromed" or was it "powdercoated" to black chrome?
