For any out-of-staters the move to Cali will require smogging at the time of Cali registration.

The law was changed to 6 years in Jan 2005. And it applies to all new Cali smog vehicles made after 2000 , not just after 2005. Check it out on this site. Unfotunately when you transfer into the state ,you legally need to change registration and all counties in Cali reuire a smog test at that time.

GTNPUZ - thank you for those links. Are you a student at AKA ? I've read up on D.C., he seems like he'd make a sweet teacher. It would be cool to be able to go with somebody, especially a fellow Z guy =)
GQ 350z - no problem, will do. Just get me enough time to settle in and fix any issues.
G3po - will do, thanks man.
