That is the Legion of Honor over on the coast, part of the Golden Gate National Recreational area at 100 34th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94121

on that SF pic infront of the columns, could you have driven up the ramp area more? or are there poles on the other side of your car that we can't see? either way, thats an awesome background...............

I am not a photographer but I play one on the web
Sometimes you find stuff in your back yard, like the Santa Teresa shots are four blocks from my house, sometimes you find them far away. Just keep your eyes open. I was just in San Francisco on Sunday and already I have a new map of places to go for pictures. I got to get new rims first though, I just cant take five more virtual rolls of film of those stockers.

By the way there are poles in front of the Legion of Honor. There is also a large fountain just opposite where I am parked and that would also make a nice backdrop.

Still my favorites are the action shots like this one in Bodega Bay

Where was this? ^

 

We were hitting some of the back roads in Marin County as well as along Hwy 1. I think this is somewhere around Mt. Tamalpais.

 

You got, both set in the post are bodega bay runs (only with different cars and different roads ).
