Shaun,
I'm gonna see if I can make it up there (kinda a long haul from Marin County). A lot will depend on the weather. Are we gonna do a cruise? Or is it just a meet & greet?
Also for what its worth lets go somewhere that's not necessarily 21 & up (I have a 20 yr old friend that might want to come).
Thanks, have a good one!

I probably won't have my Zzzzz in time to make the January meet but you guys might think about somewhere in Solano County since it is midpoint for both Bay area & Sacto. folks. Here are a few suggestions for Solano:
1) Captain Blythers in Benicia: At the end of First St right on the water. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, plenty of parking. Dinner would be around 20-25 bucks.
2) Hungry Hunter, Fairfield: I 80 & Waterman/Airbase Pky exit.
If you call inadvance they can probably set ya up in area by yourselves.
3) Tahoe Joes, Vacaville: Around the power centers off of I-80.
Usually lots of parking, great food.
For a little more informal, theres Mary's Pizza (lots of food besides pizza) in Fairfield. I-80 & Travis exit.
Just a thought to make it easier for more people from the Bay & Valley.

Meeting half way is a good idea. We'll see how many Bay Area people are interested.

Count me in!
I'm in Sac, I'll be there.
Some other cool (car club friendly) places are the Elephant Bar and Hot Rod Cafe.
HRC even allows burnouts!!
About 5 minutes from Sac Raceway.

LOL,
I don't think very many people come to this forum. Try posting a link to it from another forum that is read more like General or something??
I will travel 2 hours or so to meet. If it is on a Saturday.
Table for 4 at McD's that made me laugh...
Sounds like fun people. Let's do it.
There is another guy that posts in the mod section from Folsom, let's get him on this too!

Shaun,
I did get my Brick. Had to go to the Performance model & order from a dealer in Visalia but it is here. I'm going to be up to my posterior in biz next week so I'm not a canidate for the 10th but would like to make future get togethers.
My guess is there are not enough Zzzzzzzs in Sacto.(at least with owners who check in here) to get much of a group. My 2 cents is a larger group can be assembled by meeting places in Vacaville, Fairfield, or Dixon. ( I mentioned Benicia above but it is abit far for the Sacto. guys.) That way we draw in some of the Bay or East Bay "Brothern".
Another possibility is Cattlemen's in Dixon. Easy for people to see/find from I 80, lots of room inside, & large parking lot.
Plus there are some decent back roads that might be fun.
Also think weekends might be better bet.
Just trying to be "helpful hanna" here! LOL.

Cattlemen's is superb!
Ranks High up there for steak. I would even go as far as Fairfield or farther for meets. I can talk to my contact at Sac Raceway about monthly meetings where we get our own designated lane too if their is enough interest.

I finally got my Z so I can join in on the festivities!! I'm so happy today! I'm broke, but I'm happy!
But a meet somewhere midway between the bay area and Sacramento would be nice. Rat's idea about Cattlemens isn't a bad idea!

Gald to hear you picked up your car. Are you going to the Marin thing on the 12th?

I thought we were going to meet on the 12th for the Marin run. I was looking forward to that one. Sacto on a Friday night is a little far. I hope to see most of you on the Marin run.

OK, here's what we'll do.
When:
Friday, January 10th
7pm ish
Where:
Cattlemen's in Dixon
I-80 & Currey Rd.
(916) 678-5518
If we can get some of the "?"s to change to "Y"s we'll have a decent turnout. What do you guys say?

Shaun,
Timming won't work for me on the 10th. Between some heavy biz stuff & trying to work in a camping trip with my son before he goes back to school my dance card is unusually full.
I'm sure you guys enjoy the get together. One suggestion. Remember it is "tule" fog season. On Tuesday I drove back (in the Zzzz....Ta-Da ) from Benicia late (10PM) after a meeting. The fog between Vacaville & Sacto was pretty thick. Point is I'd try & be on the road back to home by 9 pm or so.
