Costco $44.95 Had it for 2.5 yrs works great. Run a rope through and under the car and the cover stays on with winds up to 60mph so far.

Works for me. I have one for all my cars. The Firebird next to it in the above shot has it's own as well. My cars should last for a 100,000,000 years. Lol !!!!

Sitting at work & just seeing it dump outside is just depressing . Once again...drive safely everyone. I've seen & heard of so many accidents lately, it's not even funny.

Thanks "M". I will look into doing same, instead of just sitting in garage. Sounds like a good low cost investment.... :-)

Anyone want to go snowboarding IN the South Bay? LOL.

Man, I know we occationally get some light snow on our mountains but we got a pretty decent amount this morning. I was driving towards Milpitas on 237 & you can totally see the mountains in the background covered in powder. I felt like I was driving towards Tahoe .

It's awesome!

I was driving down 680 this morning, and as I passed by Calveras in Milpitas, I saw a Dodge Neon covered in snow on the road. The guy must have had like 2 inches of snow packed on his car. Felt like Tahoe all over again.

It was snowing on the hills around San Jose, Almaden Valley, Los Gatos this morning. Most of it is gone on the west side now.

It just finished hailing Downtown. It sort of looks like snow, unfortunately it has quickly turned to slush, fortunately my car is in the parking garage.

Yep, not only is it good for rain, frost, and snow. It great to keep the temp down in the heat of summer. When I get in my car in the summer it is comfortable and I don't have to sweat. I almost think that is the best part.
Keeping dust and dirt off it is almost a secondary issue.

It also afford some protection against minor door dings. Or the smaller sized hail? You know the size stuff we get here in Cali. It wouldn't dampen the blows from golf ball sized hail but for the marble sized it would probably do the trick.

yesterday sucked! up in napa it hailed in the afternoon for about a minute or two straight and I realized my car was parked outside =(

but I thought to myself, no biggie, the ice will melt away because it started raining right after. little do i know, i walk outside to my car to move it into the garage around 11pm and the damn thing was frozen! all the hail ***** stuck to the car, windshiled wipers were frozen to the windshield thanks to the hail, and best of all, my doors were basically stuck!

what the heck is going on with the weather anyways? we went from floods in jan, to spring/summer, now back to weather that looks like it belongs to the east coast!

i wish i had a car cover like some of you guys, need to make a trip to costco

now, away away I go to monterey for the a1 grand prix! i spent 3 months helping to build this race, it better be a fun weekend with lots of crashes because thats the best part, right?

Wonder if they are going to run snow tires at the A1 Grand Prix this year. j/k

I mean it really sucks, the first year and they'll have to deal with the very least a bunch of mud.

Oh well, at least they'll all be evenly matched and it will be based on skills.
I hope those guys have driven in rally cars before because, I think they are going to be sliding all over the place.

I hate to say it ..... I was thinking of going ..... but, in these conditions, not !

I hate this weather or at least the damn crap that it leaves on the road. I was driving on 101 today & some debris of some sort hit my front bumper leaving a deep gouge on my lip the size of a quarter . As soon as this damn weather gets better, I'm going to take my car back to the bodyshop for a repaint. Guess this gives me a reason to do some of the other projects I wanted to do like color match the radiator brace, shave the hole where my rear wipers were, & side emblems .

Yeah, the rain sux.

Surprisingly, the dealer I went to for a free inspection and brake work actually washed my car (seems like dealers here in Nor Cal don't usually wash your car, unlike dealers in WA). Since it's actually CLEAN for once, I don't wanna take it outside and get it all dirty. It's moved only moved once since the work >1 week ago.

I've been driving my Prius the whole time to work...
