Anyone else get a letter from Fremont Nissan?
I got some letter yesterday about trading in my Z for an 06 with up to $5k over kbb (with avail APR of 1.0% if an '06 is purchased).
i dont kno if that letter is true or not..but i kno SUPERIOR nissan is a good dealer...im from fremont so i take my car there all the time..and know them very well..so thats my 2 cents..im sure they can work something out or esle it will be false advertisement...
They'll probably just tack that onto the new vehicle you buy. On the other hand, if you give you 5K over kbb for your trade in and you get to buy a new car at or near invoice...now you got a nice deal.
Just got back from Superior Nissan.
They said up to $5000 above kbb trade in value, but of course they're not going to give you the full $5000. They only offered me $2000 above "trade in" value of my car, and my car is in emaculate condition. No dings or scratches with only 29k miles on a well maintained 350Z '04.
Not only that, but the sale guy was pretty rude. He wouldn't check the database where or not they have a particular trim I wanted. I got fed up and just walked out.
To sum things up, this ad is to get you in their dealership. Don't expect on getting $5000 above kkb since they said the 350z isn't a high demanding car.

Oh...I got to test drive the '06, while at the dealership
The clutch and shifting are a lot smoother, but it doesn't pull as hard since they lowered the torque.
Horsepower is overrated!
