have fun everyone. I'd attend, but the chance of getting bent over the table by the cops isn't worth it.
check out the Jtune coverage of a Honda meet at Eibach headquarters:

cops all over the place AND they handed out tickets. remember, the money the gov't handed out to local law enforcement to crack down on modified cars only started this yr.
make sure you have your front plates and your front windows rolled down. all you FI'd guys be careful

the whole point is they prolly did inform the police. that's why they showed up in force.
i think most of the tickets were of the parking variety, but i'm sure they got one or two for illegal equipment.
i don't know how this event will turn out. i'm sure it will be fine.

We should be ok. My windows are 30-35% on the sides. Should I worry? That and ride height worry me but I'm taking my chances..
Sheeit if anything I'll roll in the "getaway" ride with brian and leave my Z in fremont LOL

you guys do know that the park is right next to the fremont police department... but i wouldnt worry. they throw this thing every year and theres no problems.. jsut as long as people dont disrespct the event buy doing burn outs in the parking lot..

Shouldn't be a problem. As mentioned, they throw this every year & it's right next to them. Just act civil & don't do any crazy stuff like burning out or speeding down the road like you're at the track. Remember, it only takes one person to mess everything up for everyone else so please make sure to keep everyone in check.

We hold this event yearly and it goes pretty smooth when people keep the stupid crap out of the park. That being said, the crowd we anticipate this year looks to be near double that of last year...we all need to help out by keeping everyone in order.
I don't foresee problems; it should be a nice day away from work and around the cars we love. Not to mention great food to share and fellow enthusiasts to hang with.
See you all out there tomorrow!

We're at 139 officially right now. That doesn't include their guests if any. Some ppl may flake, some may bring a few cars with them and some will just show up without ever signing up. I think ~160 heads would be a conservative guess at this point.
If the 350 guys come together (and early enough) they can likely park together. Otherwise, it may be hard to get everyone to move around just to stay in groups. Traditionally though, like-cars like to park in groups anyway. It'll likely just work out (and if not, groups usually move to other locations later on to get group shots).
