Default where to play ball around san jose?

back in PA, used to play every other day, now that i have moved here, i havent touched it in motnhs and getting seriously over weight lol

anyone know any decent courts near me? i am in south san jose capitol expressway and 87 junction. i will be willing to drive 15-20 mins for a decent court, and hopefully not where i need to learn to box, instead of boxing out, to play lol if you know hwa ti mean...had too much of those kinda games back east.

if youcan, give a street name where i can nav to, since i am still relatively new to CA and dont know where "this and this park" is

I play every weekend at a local court to me...3 full courts, very nicely paved and all 6 baskets are pefect. Regulation size full court. It's outside the Electronic Arts building. You go 101N, and get off at Redwood Shores Pky (exit 411), and it'll be on your left side at the third traffic light.

I might not play this weekend...have to work...next weekend though.

It's past redwood city. It's on the other side of 101 from San Carlos. The exit sign would say "Holly / Redwood Shores Parkway", so just take the Redwood Shores Pky split to the right. Then down 3 lights, it's on the left side in the corner. I usually play around 2pm to around 5pm. Pretty good competition there too. Friendly as well.

hey bro,

my guys and i usually play on weds / thurs (weather permitting) over at fair oaks park. it's a drive, but i'm in the same area as you. cap / 87. basically, take 87N till it turns into 101N. take 101N until you reach fair oaks. exit towards the left. go until you reach duane. it's a red light, so you're gonna turn left on it. then turn on the first right and you're there.

usually i'll have my ZR there

PM if you need more info.

I always see a full game on Yerba Buena and McLaughlin, before you head towards Silver Creek Valley. I see a bunch of people playing from 4-sunset.

Ahhh...I remember the days when I use to play there . I live only one exit from there. Can't believe that place is still poppin. Man, you're telling me about being out of shape. I just shot around the other day & quickly ran a few games with some locals & I was sore as hell the next day! Mind you, I'm a thin guy as well. I hate sitting behind a computer all day

Time to make a Z BBall Team! We can have jerseys with a big Z logo on the front or we can have it just say "NorCal Z"

Who wants to join?

For our first game, we can vs. some of the G guys.

Hmm? Sounds like there's enough interest in a Basketball Z Meet If so, we should pick out a park with a good court & combined it with a BBQ Meet as well

BBall, Nice cars, & FOOD!

There are courts right down the street from the Prunyard off Bascom - Campbell road right by Bradley Video. Lots of courts, lots of games. Really picks up at night. Turn up Campbell Ave off Bascom - its on the left after you go under 17. If you hit Bradley, you went too far.

If you guys get something going I will bring my son out to play for the Z bball team. He is only 14 at a little over 6' tall, but through academics and ballin has been invited to play on a US National team in Europe and currently plays on an AAU tournament team (about every weekend, year round). I liked to see if he can hang with some experienced.

Definitely interested...
My brain thinks it can still play, my body sometimes disagrees...
If anyone's interested, the community gym in Benicia can be rented out for $25/hour... We were able reserve it on a Saturday one time...
