Hahaha thanks man...looked at that post, hoping it works for pre 06's. =)

Yeah, I decided to go all out, f it haahha. I wasn't even going to post this...but FULL details, pics, etc. etc. coming soon. This photo was taken today, I dunno why they aren't moving forward with it. I will have a complete writeup. As far as I know, I'm the only one in the international Z community to have this done.

Holla,
Ravi

F'sho man. For the most part I should be 98% complete (exterior) by the weekend.

The car is FILTHY with dust from bondo/fg/ etc sitting at the shop and now (GASP) sitting for days in the sun. It's going to need a heavy detail that I am actually looking forward to ahhahahah...The wheels look gunmetal with black lip ahhaha.

All I can say is this: It looks sick in person. VERY porshesque from the rear esp with my 295's and that big ol ***!

Looking good Ravi!

Can't wait to see it when it's all done . BTW...you should have them also paint your side-mirror bases to match the car as well since they're going to paint your kit anyway. It's subtle but it definitely makes that dull black area look 10x cleaner. You can even see if they can shave/plug your rear wipers as well to get that even more clean look .

Check out my side-mirrors:

James,

Please check pm and thanks everyone for the kind words. My shop is really cheap like that, even small things they want (IMO) too much money to do. I'll see what they will charge. My car has been gone since last Tuesday...so I'm really missing her now.

Can't wait to get back to the blvd to pimp hahaha
=/

You molded it....Nice!

I'm getting a quote this weekend to have mine molded too.....you beat me!

I was worried about the "mold" breaking over time, but I was going to talk to my guy about that.

Werd, I'll give you more details later bro....basically there is a chance, for sure it might crack later on but I barely drive it so I took the risk. Make sure the shop reinforces it, otherwise body flex will cause crackign indefinitely.

As is true for anything I do, I heavily researched and this is the result. It's not cheap but to be original I had to do it. I wanted the ing's kit since 2002, but just NOW put it on. Had the wing for ages and now the complete setup.

I hate being part of a crowd so I had to set it off a little bit Everything with my Z...is..."extreme" or imo the "hard way" but thats what makes its special.

BTW james pm tag hahaha..

My guy told me it would start cracking over time, so that scared me away from doing it! But if your shop can guarantee it, then go for it!

BTW, Ravi, get some BLACK Ganador side mirrors. They'll go well with some other stuff that you are doing (or will be doing )

I think molding the rear is fine so long as the bodyshop does a quality job. You don't get much stress back there unless it's so low to the point it scrapes. Where you would get cracking over time is in areas where you have a lot of stress like if you molded the front lip which usually ends up scraping on something, wind stress, &/or hit by debrit.
