Allignment Shop?
I need a place that can do an allignment on my car. It has the nismo bumper, so its very low to the ground, and normal places like, midas, big o tire, etc cant handle it because of this.
does anyone know a good shop in the bay area with a good rep than can allign lower profile cars?

I heard good things about Motorsport Techniques in Hayward, but there was recently a thread here from a dissatisfied customer.
I'm not sure who to go to, but I'll be needing an alignment soon.. once I get my camber arms and toe bolts installed.

Anyone have any more say about Motorsport Techniques?
Go see Brandon Krause he has done three allignments as I have modded my car and improved my driving. He is very complete and will set your car up for numerous types of driving. I track my car so I have -3 deg front and -2.4 rear.

Dealer. Eh.. Im already geussing they cant handle my z.
If you throw enough money at it, yes they can.
PS you may want to take a look at this. An alignment may not fix your problems.

So you may want to take it somewhere that can handle more than an alignment.

I had a poor experience at Motorsport technique before as well. The first time I had an alignment there everything was fine but the second time I was very dissatisfied.
I brought my car in because it was pulling to the right which I told the person behind the counter. When I got my car back it was still pulling to the right so I turned around and went back, I asked the tech to drive it so he would know how much the steering wheel was off (about 1/2") but he refused and just asked how crooked it was. Needless to say after I left again the steering wheel was still not center and the car pulled to the right, I said f*ck it and went home since I did not want to get stuck in traffic. I would not go back there again, so be warned.

Wow. That does suck. Must have been a bad day, for them. How did you end up getting your bad pull resolved? What part of Foster City do you live in JSL? What color is your Z? I'm in FC every other day. I pulled over and talked to a Z I didn't know a couple days ago.
Are you getting an alignment bec of the car pulling to the right? I recently got that fixed just by flipping the tires (left to right right to left) unfortunately I did an alignment and two rebalancing on all the tires trying to fix that and I had been driving it this way for a year... I suggest doing that first if you want to save $. When I went to get an alignment it seemed as if they never touched the settings since they said it was still in spec. I went to Auto innovations in milpitas.
