I need to go down there as well.....to get this kit pulled off though LOL. With Ted out of the Z car scene, I would really hate to blow this motor and deal with all that(no more ted, no more warranty I guess). Ted said he would help me out with the car after the shop was gone, but I doubt he would have the time or want to deal with a Z again. Whatcha guys think? Is anyone from Zcargarage on here so they can offer some advice?

 

I don't work for Zcar, but as you know I go there now. I'm absolutely 100% sure that Rob would love to help you out and re-tune the car safely if that's what you are aiming for. There isn't really anyone who could warranty a TT kit, as it's a big aftermarket mod. But I'm sure Rob can take a look at it for you and tell you everything honestly, and then you can decide.

Just as an example...whenever I need parts, Rob would ask me how much I could get it for. If he could get it for cheaper, he will. If he can't, he'll tell you too for you to get it yourself. He did that for my parts, as well as many others. This shows that he's not in it solely for the money, but also the pride for building you something you love.

Give him a shot. There's really nothing to lose.

For sure, I am going to hit him up and see what he thinks, I think I want to pull it off anyways, dont get me wrong, ITS FUN AS HELL AND SOUNDS NASTY, but I cant risk it right now, to much house BS.

I actually dropped by Z Car Garage this afternoon. Talked with Rob briefly.....going to bring my Z in next Monday for a new tune as well, as he was getting the A/F meter sorted today. We'll see what Rob can do.....He even offered a "loaner" if I wanted to drop the Z off earlier this week, but I said it's all good, as long as he does the Z right on Monday. Looking forward to that...

 

More then likely....although I did just get my car back from the body shop today with the front emblem shaved, bumper repainted, and veilside fixed/painted to match, it was a cooler night and I was having alot of fun on the freeway lol....I missed the car this last week. We should meet up this weekend when Bri, MattressMan and I get together, let me know.

 

Ok so who's bringin the bagels then. I guess it'll be a big party there in the mornin!
