the scariest thing happened ... around 1 a.m., derek and i were going to the bowling alley, and so it was me at a light (2nd one before the light to turn left onto 87 from capital expway), then derek behind me ... and pulling up to the left turning lane (red light), was a cop. corner of my eye i saw the cop car, and so i slowly stepped on the throttle, and my exhaust starts to drone, then derek is behind me, and then out of no where i see red and blue go off, then i think "oh crap derek's going to get pulled over ...", but derek pulls to the right to get out of the cops way, and the **** comes straight on my *** ... i nearly pissed in my pants ... then he just went to the side of me, starred at me and sped off ... so many people were getting pulled over tonight, i was scared I was going to be one of them even though I was being safe and not doing anything wrong.

 

you should try to stop posting stories like these. Kit isnt going to be happy with it

 

just put a front license plate on and i'll be ok

guess what man, you kno how you got a ticket for your front plate and pop charger? you jinxed me man! after i left i got pulled over in san jose for the same ****. pulled me over, walked passed me to the front of the car and looked if i had a front plate, said "i thought you didnt" and asked to pop my hood. i got a state ref for my jwt pop charger. ****in ******* cop. we got the same ticket in the same day.

 

Whats the state ref do for the popcharger ? (other james, lol)

Nice meet guys. I didnt expect to see that many Z's. Some really nice cars guys. Me and my friend felt all bad being almost stock ( all we had were intakes ). Oh well.

Damn...that sucks . Probably the same cop too. Where in San Jose did you get pulled over at? If it's around Tully & Capitol, that area is essentially a "no modded cars" zone since cops are swarming around that area. Yep, no front plate is usually their primary excuse to pull you over, then it's downhill from there. Sometimes I think I should just get a Z06 since I never see those bastards pull a Vette over for no front plate.

Where is little James? I think he was more down about his hood then the tickets.

Felt bad for James last night as he got pulled over. The cop passed me and paced next to James, then he cut right in front of me and pulled him over. What a dick...

 

i think it's time for me to get a dodge charger...

I was gonna go last night, I swear. I washed the car and just when I was done drying it I get lit up like a x-mass tree by my cell phone. Bing, bing, bing. I had a Cisco switch power supply go nuts, pop a breaker. None of my production systems went down because they are on redundant power but our UAT was all messed up. I was at the datacenter until 1:30am getting it all back up and running.

I just put on my front plate. Getting pulled over sucks sooo bad. I don't care anymore if my front looks ugly. Sooo many people getting pulled over for bs reasons...

 

Hey guys.

Friday was a really ****ty day. Being pulled over once in the morning before my final and being late to it was one thing. But then being pulled over that evening as I was driving normally and being singled out while with some friends going to the meet was another.

The cop basically gave me another front plate ticket even after I showed him my one from this monring. He also gave me a ticket for the JWT popcharger, even though I showed him the CARB legal sticker with the number. He was a dick and I fully coorperated because I knew I had nothing wrong on my car, just it looking "highly modified" as he put it. Now I gotta waste my time and money again and see the state ref or some crap.

To top it off when I popped the hood at the meet to show people my carb sticker on the pop charger and my CF hood I bought brand new less than a month ago got 3 huge 6-9 inch scratch / stretch marks when I closed it normally as I had a 100 times before, and many of you at the meet saw this happen.

Anyways, I am contemplaing selling all the CF now.

i need to find my front plate mount ... i think it's in the garage, i'm not sure ...

hmm ... seems like everyone is having carbon fiber problems =/ since the cop see's 2 tones on your car from behind (james), it gives him a head start in wondering if he should pull you over? but maybe if it was one tone he would just think it's regular and be on his way ... i dont know that's just what i think.
