Thanks guys...it's been great.

i'm not gonna repeat what Bing said, but to sum it up, you didn't invest the money you did to go fast. you did it to be different and try things others have not tried. by parting it out, you'll have abadoned the reason for building the car.
in the end, it is your money, and 10-15k is A LOT in anyone's book.
if it was me, either get the car back up and running (nothing additional) or build it back all the way up. i wouldn't sell it.
best of luck bro.

Have you considered a more robust drivetrain, like an RB26 or even the (gasp!) 2JZ? Your Z would live on, make stupid power while being bulletproof, and even earn brownie points for being "different" if that's important to you! (and I know it is
). Although I'm sure RB's in Z33's are like SR's in 240sx's nowadays
I've heard/seen too many horror stories with boosting the VQ35, yet folks continue to boost?!

props to you on all you have done to the z and what you have shown this community that you can do. you have the utmost respect from all of us and i personally hope that you continue with your project if i had the funding right now i would try and help you out because your car would be the ultimate beast if it was finished. you only live once man i picked the z with that mindset. goodluck with your decision either way remember that you will always be welcome on the z forum z or not. also can we have a vote on whether you stick with it or not haha?

IMO, I think you should fix it. It's been a long wait for you and you've been very passionate about your Z. You have this whole forum pulling for you and drooling at what you've done so far. You're an innovator/trend setter with your Z and I would hate to see your project incomplete.
I know the $krilla is a huge deciding factor... But if you don't finish, you'll always think to yourself "coulda-woulda-shoulda."
Some one will post their 1/4 mile you'll think "I coulda beat that if I woulda finished my extreme APS TT"
Then someone will come around and emulate exactly what you wanted to do and you'll say I SHOULDA FINISHED!!!! D@MN IT ALL TO HELL!!!! (blood dripping as you pound your head against the wall)
Good luck man... All the best to you! Much respect for pushing the limits of the Z!
Oh, and if you decide to part out and buy a ________ (fill in the blank), your GTS would have a good home with me!!!!

PS. I got dibs on the TS rear diffuser if you decide option 1.
My goodness, Alex.
Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully you just enjoy the holidays, take a break, and reevaluate what you need to get done on this project (yeah, I'm saying you should keep it). As some have said, parting it out would be a significant loss, and you would be starting from scratch with another project. Good luck with all this. Again, sorry to hear about it.
