Exclamation Help - Need a Bay Area real estate lawyer referral

Hi folks. I moved out of the Bay Area a year ago and just found out the folks who purchased our home is suing us over a disclosure dispute. I now live in Vancouver British Columbia and don't personally know anyone in the Bay who has gone through this process and can refer us to a solid lawyer. Please help as I don't simply want to hit up the yellow pages - would rather start with folks who have had good personal experiences. Thanks in advance.

Here's a referral to start (I've used them for other services, very nice and straightforward).....I can also check with my attorney buddies if you need further referrals.

Thanks so much for the help folks. Sounds like I am going to need a lawyer so I'll start the interviews come Monday. But if anyone else has a good personal or professional connection to a residential real estate lawyer I'd love their info. Thanks again.

I don't really remember this aspect from my real estate class I took a few years back but don't they sue the agent and not the seller? Or are they sueing both?

Also what does this involve if you don't mind sharing? Did the buyer have a hope inspection done? Was it something that could have been determined through a home inspection ?

Nolo has to be one of the best places for anything concerning legal matters. It might help, it might not.

Good luck!

Thanks UrbanTacticZ - I'll check it out. I'll do the show and tell after I'm able to get resolution but I'll say that I definitely wasn't out to defraud anyone.
