If you won in small claim court all it means is you won. It doesn't mean they have to pay you or do anything else. It's now up to you to get paid. In order to get paid you'll have to send them a bill. Good luck. Winning in small claims is a joke.

what did you sue for? my freind got shafted on a car he bough and he is in themiddle of the lawsuit and you sue for 2 or three times the car's value and then court fees. (it was an Evo)

 

what did you get out of the settlement?

 

Suing an individual yes, but suing a business with liability insurance is a different matter. If the business looses the lawsuit in small claims court, then their liability insurance carrier will have to pick up the tab in most cases.
