I always wonder how can they let someone with a class c license drive something that is essentially a semi. There you are with that lap bench belt, knocking down trees, backing up into fences, and then heading onto the highway. With that said, watch out for Uhauls. My Last Uhaul one was rented from Los Angeles (but originated from Canada). Everything was in metric. Uhaul tried several times to try and get a ton of extra cash for "exceeding the milage."

City Rent-a-Car, it's pricey, it's not cheap econo cars that you can practice stick with. I worked for them for a summer, cool people and really nice. They had a stick miata, z4, jeep, and...now they have like nicer cars. I didn't get to drive any of the stick since I didn't know. They are in San Francisco off Bush St. www.cityrentacar.com. You hvae to be atleast 25 and insurance and credit card. If you do rent from them, lemme know Mike, short chinese guy, a former employee sent ya. Thanks. Oh they also had a stick minicooper. If you want to find a car to learn stick, you should just find professionals who offer this service, i thikn it's like 90 bucks for 2 hours, or a friend who has a stick. Good luck.

Mike

I actually know some stick. I drive in a Celica, Accord, EVO, X-Runner before. Everytimes just get better to it. My test track exam is next month. I just try to be good to it before taking the exam.

Oh, all of my friends drive nice sticks. Like EVO, IS300, 350z and G35, don't really want to mess up their cars.

I don't remember their name, but when I had my Driver's Training back around 2000, I learned in stick. They were in the city and I think my dad found it in the yellow pages. It was something like $40/hour.
