Default Visiting Norcal

My gf and I are visiting Norcal at the end of the month and I was wondering if any of you guys ever did wine tasting in Napa?

Do you guys know the cost of these? Any tips?

thanks!

most vineyards will charge below $10

kenwood vineyards is free

silver oak in Napa (Oakville) is $10 and you get to keep the glass

there are some wine rooms where you can sample a variety of wine from different vineyards... not sure how much that is though

have fun

Just a heads up, the wine train is overated if your considering it at all, it takes you down a road you can drive on and then through the crappy homes in napa. If you got the Z or a decent car I suggest you head to 121 off of silverado trail and then go to lake berryessa, it a beautiful drive this time of the year and you can check out the glory whole if you haven't seen it, its not a big deal but its worth the drive.

It doesn't hurt to call in advance, but i've never had to make any reservations when I go wine tasting... although, I usually go on weekdays

Restaurants, on the other hand, you might have to...
