....James, you must have been leaving already.. You were headed towards the Gap store /BR side but you weren't there when we went to that side...
Have a good weekend guys... Stay dry..
So, Im working on my car (height adjustment) - taking advantage of the not so rainy day... As Im lifting the car, my floor jack decides to die on me
...
I do a quick search online... I find one that some members are using and happy with... Luck me "Harbor Freight" is a few miles from me
... So, I head over there and get one...
Wow, cheaper than the advertised online price
... Price, $75.00 + 2 years replacement warranty + tax = $110.00 (actually a few pennies shy)...
Ive never had to discard a floor jack before. Question is, do I just put the old jack in the garbage? Or, should I just "find a dumpster" to put it in?

It's metal or more so, aluminum. Just put it in your recycle bin for pick-up. Let them do what they want with it
I have one of those too but it's anodized red.

Mine's a Torin big red 1.5 ton Aluminum. Looks just like your 'I like-a-the-blue' one

Who was it that wanted to swap around wheels last wed for maybe next GTG?
I can bring mine to help out if that's the plan for next meet.

Mine has the rubber pad like yours, but has those metal tabs on the sides that would still touch my paint underneath my skirts.
I have to use a piece of carpet to protect my paint when lifting.

More information can be found here... A little on the expensive side but a neat little device...
