Just an FYI to all you local area members.

Got pulled over for loud exhaust last night by a CHP. There out here now looking for mods

Asked if I had any other mods, said no. Then asked me to open my hood to check, of which there were none and was told 'good...keep it that way'.

Won't go into details, but got off with warning. Said if he sees me again with that exhaust, will cite me next time

Ironically, heard an obnoxious fart can exhaust waaay louder than me while pulled over.
It didn't even bother the officer nor the second officer in a second cruiser lol.

So beware...they're out and about looking, at least with G35's they are it seems.

 

Well, I got pulled over too. It was this morning, on my way to work. Reason was, my car is too low!!! WTF?!?!? After 20 minutes she let me go. I WAS LATE FOR WORK!!!

Anyway, I'm glad I had my front plate on... She did comment, "are those zip ties?" - I said "they sure are"...

At the end of it all, she let me go... That stop was so bogus!!! What a waste of my time!!! I didn't even have time to get coffee...

 

Wow makes me think twice about going back to the Vortech kit, at least that way I can support a body kit and gauges in the car and if asked to pop the hood I will be like sure here you go.

Drove past 3 cops this morning and they just looked but nothing more

 

Man...pulled over for being too low!! You not as low as you were before your GTC's and 285's...agree...bogus.

I'm frickin exhaust sound gun shy now. Next it'll be my moderate tints...just because.
I never took off my plate from SC run...lol...it's staying on now. Sure that helped me that night too.
