Come on, what harm would it be to get a taste of some prime beef for one meal?

"When it rains, it pours." So are you talking about this salt? http://www.mortonsalt.com/

Umm, not sure if there is a mix up, but morton's salt is different from morton's steakhouse. But what's so special about mortons' salt? In terms of salt, can't really get much better than freshly cracked sea salt.

As for the steakhouse, well I enjoy a filet as much as the next person, but at mortons, I go for their cajun ribeye.

I'm glad you enjoy the salt, but honestly it's just salt. As for the iodine, I believe basically any table salt has this added. This was started sometime in the early 1900s to assist your thyroid gland and combat goiter. It should have no affect on the taste.

So basically, the salt at morton's will pretty much taste the same as the salt at mcdonalds. So no need to jack it. Well, enjoy your salt
