This is the 2nd annual meet held by Garrett from the Supraforums. Some of you who went to the Asian Heritage Festival probably saw his red MKIV and his dad's quicksilver widebodied TRD MKIV next to him in the show. So far he has around 113 people going from numerous forums. And seeing as how he invited me I thought it would be nice to get a large group of Zs from our community to caravan over there and represent. I will be coming from Sacramento w/ my buddy Rich who had the black single turbo MKIV that was also @ the show, a couple 240s, and a few others. If anyone is interested let me know. You can either PM me or post in this thread.
There is plenty of time between now and the meet so start requesting that day off!!!

When: June 30th @ 10AM for those doing dynos in the morning, and 11AM for everyone else. You are welcome to come early if you would like to watch the earlier dynos.

Whats going on: Meet and greet local car people, BBQ, DYNO pulls

What To Bring: Yourself and $5.00 for food if you want some of the bbq, otherwise you can bring your own food.

Sorry if I missed any link/any other info in the thread, but what would the price be for a dyno at this event? Any lower than usual?

I do have one concern is how about the cops. Since its right next to down town, i'm sure some haters will snitch on the meet.

 

It's all good. This is the second annual one they've had. And the supras are waaaaay more modded than any of our cars, and definitely not street legal, except for a few exceptions like Alex.
So they've taken the necessary precautions. No worries.

One of the main ones being that the people that are attending are more mature in which they won't end up doing things such as trying to race, drift, or cause any type of disturbance that would cause the police to come and crack down on us.
For example, last year at Freakmont. We had a crazy number of modified Zs, 240s, and then you're random Evos, and we even had the Apex'i drift FD w/ an LS motor swap there and because no one acted like morons we had no problems.
So as long as we all act like adults, then no worries.

 

What is the name of the shop. I live a block away and haven't seen it. I'd like to get a dyno run in depending on the price.

Here's the info for the dyno runs and tuning for anyone who might be interested.

The cost is $50.00 for 3 power pulls and a print out. We will be accepting the first 10 people for dyno pulls and will accept 5 additional people to be on a wait list incase others back out. We will try to take as many people as we can however we have 2 tuners that will be at this event one of which specializes in Supras and the AEM unit so those people will be done first so we do not waste that tuners time as he is flying down from Oregon to do the tuning.

 

They used to be on 10th st. I've stopped by there a few times. I signed up for dyno pulls so I'll be there unless something comes up.

 

if i have the new clutch and LW flywheel on I'll meet you guys at enterprise david.
