So i just picked my Z up today with the new exhaust installed... Dems are LOUD!!! OMFG I got cars that were 2-3 lengths behind me, rear view mirror and windows were shak'n lol. I'm gonna drive the Z to work tomorrow and test it out on my morning commute.

 

yea those are loud....i believe they sell silencers for the rsr if you sometime want to be discreet.

 

Get a sound clip on here of your setup. Are you running test pipes, hi-flow cats, or stock cats?

i used to have those installed on my Z. I had to change them cause they were loud!! Now i have the greddy evo2 ..
I loved the sound though! but not for too long!

I only have an injen CAI and the RSR exhaust (headers/y-pipe maybe).

Just be careful with that exhaust. It is definitely loud & will get attention (sometimes bad). I already know a few people who had it & they always got pulled over because of it. Most of them ended up selling it cause they got tired of it. I'm pretty sure some of the OG's here still remember the Ultra Yellow that had it . We went on a run to Bodega Bay & we heard the guy almost a mile away .

 

nice choice on the exhaust. i'm with you bro the louder the better. unfortunately the z is my dd so i've got the silencer bolted into my jic all the time. when you roll into alameda on sunday take the webster tube onto the island. a loud exhaust screaming thorugh a tunnel is the second best sound on earth. the first of course being the sound from a wastegate.

hey james- nothing much, pretty much work, but yeah i notices that you were at the alameda meets on sunday with your big o' digital camera, i was about to head down there, but i knew that alameda cops doesnt go easy on loud exhuast system, and yeah james i still have that loud topspeed exhaust .
