Umm...I'd be careful at Standford guys. Several past meets there have ended up being a ticket fest for them popos. If I recall, they began being more strict after some moron crashed his car trying to showoff.

When G35 had meet there early this year? on two different times ppl came out from Nordstrom asking us, mainly me, what, why and how long we are there for and I send a E-mail to Adam the organizer for this meet that he should call and talk to manager at Nordstrom about this event ahead of time but got no reply from Adam yet.

At meet last Sat.? the CHP followed a group of G35 all way from one end of San Mateo bridge to our meeting loaction, when he saw there are lot more of us? he call for back up.

We had over 100 cars in Blackhawk last Saturday and we had no signs of PoPo's. Not even on the way there or back. We were travelling in packs of 7-10 Z cars. It just depends on the areas. I would definitely stay away from the bay area is possible such as San Mateo, Redwood City, Santa Clara County basically. No more meets for us in those areas, don't need the hassel/harassment.

i try to stay away from palo alto, even wit hmy mildly modded car, that place is a magnet for tickets, i think last time when the meet was there, 30 some tickets were handed out? palo alto is one of the places that they will pull you over for a tinted window very frequently...

though alex you are safe with the outta state license hehe

It's not entirely bad in those Counties. There are just specific places that you have to be extra careful though since they're a little more ****. Palo Alto (around the Stanford Shopping Center) is one of them & San Jose (around Tully/Capitol) is the other. Plus the unfortunate reality is that the imports (specifically the Japanese ones) get targeted first out there & tend to look the other way if it's a modded Benz, Beemer, Porche, & obviously the Exotics (there are cases where they have though). I don't intend to scare anyone from going but simply put out a warning on how they are over there so they can take extra precautions (e.g. slapping on your front plate since they'll use that as their primary reason to pull you over before they start checking everything else). I just don't want anyone here to get hassled & I know that some of you have already experienced this from those exact locations (ehem...right James?)

BTW...Happy 4th Guys!

San Mateo's got the special force that are only out to look for modded cars and we never have problems when we cruise/have dinner there. :knockonwood:
