Sacramento Drags
Thought i would throw this out to you guys. Im heading up to Sacramento Drags on Saturday 7/7/07 with a big group of cars anyone who wants to join the caravan or meet us up there is more than welcome.
Their website indicates:
Gates open at 4pm
Racing 6-10pm
$35/car, $5 spectator
as well as:
Basic Test and Tune and Grudge Fest Requirements
1. All drivers must have a valid state driver's license.
2. All vehicles must pass a basic NHRA ET Bracket safety inspection. For a full listing of requirements, consult an NHRA Rulebook.
3. A single co-driver is permitted in vehicles running slower than 14.00 seconds. Co-drivers must be at least 16 years old and must sit in the front seat.
4. All drivers and co-drivers must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops).
5. SFI approved helmets are required for all vehicles running quicker than 14.00 seconds.
6. Significant additional requirements including but not limited to a roll bars and driver's jackets are required for vehicles quicker than 11.50 seconds.
7. Motorcycle racers slower than 10.99 seconds are required to wear a heavy jacket, gloves, helmet with eye protection, and shoes covering the tops of the ankles. Significant additional requirements including full leathers are required for motorcycles quicker than 10.99 seconds.
#6 sucks, I was hoping that Sac didn't impose that rule.

i'm so pissed that i forgot to put on my fuel filler cap
i figure that's why my times got slower as my fuel levels dropped, which i'm guessing meant lower fuel pressures
i cant wait to get some decent tires on and go again (with a gas cap on)

it was sooo friggin hot. i think it was close to 100 degrees in the day and only around 8 pm did it start to cool. At about 9:30 it was fairly cool maybe low 70's
