Default Nee a little help to sell.

Sorry for adding this in this section but just wanted to ask the locals about any ideas to sell my 350z? Will attending get togethers help or posting in some newspaper that you recommend, I just need to sell ASAP. The car has a vortech supercharger, koyo radiator, Track package and other stuff (over $9,000) invested. Trying to sell for about $21,500. Let me know, really appreciate your help.

Thanks.

For some reason, 350z's are pretty hard to sell imo because not much people want a 2 seater because of practicality reasons.

When I sold my 350z, I just posted it up on craigslist and added a link to my cardomain site, which had tons of pictures of my car from when it was stock to when it was fully modified. I also included pictures of it in car shows because I think some people think that "show cars" are more clean and well taken care of. Also, people like details about the car such as service history, install receipts, etc.

So overall, lots of pictures and details will help. Good luck!

p.s. that's a really good price! how much miles?

best way would be to post it like the others have said wit alot of pics and all the specs. post it here, craigslist, autotrader and more. bringing the car to shows will help, but not as much as if you posted it online. good luck wit the sale

autotrader FTW, when I was looking for a Z, I literally check it EVERYDAY! Also it's gonne be hard to sell a FI car, just because not many people want those, because of reliability and they won't know if it was done right or not.

Go where there are connections, i.e. local meets like you said, FS area here, and I'd go to see Rob at Z Car Garage as well. He may know of someone looking for a car given his business. I believe CL is a last, lowest-price, resort.

thanks.

Try to sell it as F/I first. If I was in the market, I'd jump at a $20k F/I car. I'd also post a) who did the install, b) dyno numbers and discuss the tune.

The vortech was installed and tuned by z car garage, and the radiator was installed by california's best. numbers were about 355 whp.

I think the key on selling the 350z is the price. You'll never recoup the mod money you put in to the car and chances are you'll never get close to what you're looking for. Even though your price might be heavily discounted already. You have to remember most of the used Z are being picked up by the younger crowd with limited funds. For the older crowd that have money, chances are they're looking at something else or will be buying them new.
Nonetheless, persistence will prevail. If you must sell the car quick, the only way is the lower the price and/or part out the car then sell it as stock. If time is not a constrain, there will always be someone looking for the exact setup and will be willing to give you what you're asking for.

good luck with your sale!! likewise, what everyone said, post plenty of pics with good clean history will help as well.

Good info. I'd include that with your online sales data. I wish I was shopping. Maybe Lou is ready for another DB F/I Z?
