I live next to this city Brentwood in the East Bay and its a pretty nice city its growing pretty fast.. And i make 10.50 changing tires..lol the pay is a little better down here

 

Oakland Police starts at 70k a year.
Oakland Fire Department will give you around 75k+ a year
Alameda Police your lookin at 100k starting a year (but you need to be a college graduate)

Almost every Police department is hiring in the Bay Area. and the starting pay is pretty good.
