has anyone messed around with modding your headlights?

 

^a few people have, im pretty sure both Jeremy's have. I have done it to other car headlights before , its pretty much the same with all cars though.

What are you trying to do?

 

i found the step by step thread on how to do it but wouldnt mind some insight from someone who has done it. im looing to do the ironman, demon eye, halo, and paint matte black.
cant seem to find a used set of lights to pick up in the area though.

I did mine probably 2 years ago, it wasnt too bad. About a days project because you have to drop the bumper, let them dry etc. I didnt do halos or demoneye though, but i cant imagine it being too much more difficult. Just throw em in the oven, but make sure to put a piece of wet cardboard underneath them to make sure the plastic doesnt melt. Or use a heat gun, but id say thats riskier. Mine came out great, havent had any fogging problems or anything
