Good company to work for, a couple of my co workers from Intel left years ago for Apple. They are still there so it must be a good place to work. One lives in Roseville, his only complaint is the commute.

I dont feel so bad now. You may be in some of my pics (that I still have not uploaded). I will shoot you a pm with my contact info. So when an event comes up and you miss it here online, then a text message can get to you with the info.

Any Sac guys know of a good utec tunner? I either switching to Uprev/Osiris or need a proper utec tune for my STS Z. If I stay utec I will upgrade to 660 DW injectors and push 12-15 psi on my built motor.......if I go Osiris I will stay 440's with 9-10psi. The only shop I found for Osiris is EIP racing in San Jose.......and I don't know much about them either. I live in Redding and am tires of driving far for this crap....I just want it done.

I was in SacTown Wed-Fri for a 3 day conference. We found ZEN Sushi restaurant and it was pretty good. Come to Sactown every other year for 3 day conference, but never ate there. Now I have a Sushi place there. Then went to Rocklin, boy, now they got a BBQ Restaurant called "Lucille's", there's a place to meet. Joined some Z'ers there. It was fun. Than off to S.F for 2 days for fun, shopping. With Rocklin so close that is a good place to place gatherings. It was worth the short 200+ mile drive to enjoy those ribs...

Warren, glad you made it out and that we could entertain you and Arlene with some good ol SacTown hospitality.

Next time out this way, we will take you to our favorite sushi place – Mikuni’s.

^ Welcome to the Z enthusiasts forum. Hope you can make it out to Mels. It will be fun, and good eats after the run.

What model/year and color did you pickup? Is this your first Z?

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome! (If you say "You're welcome for the welcome", I'm just gonna get confused!)

I picked up an '05 Blue Z coupe, which is my first Z. It's a trade-up from an MR2 Spyder.

Here's a photo of the Z, at its new home:

Strangely, since I bought the car on Friday, it's had a harder and harder time starting, until this morning, when it refused. Looks like a dead battery. I plugged my charger into it for about 30 minutes, and it started up enough for me to bring it to my repair guy. Will be ready for Sunday's drive and breakfast, for sure... But that's my luck with cars, unfortunately.

See you Sunday!

Daytona Blue, very nice and very clean. I am on my third Z, just cannot get enough of em...it gets into your blood.

It's the snap in the weather from warm to cold. I had this happen happen last Sunday and the battery was only from March. A quick charge and it's holding it, so no worries.

There are at least 2 Spyders coming if not more.

See you Sunday!

Cheers

Default Seat Repair?

Hey guys, I've got a torn seat on my Z! It's on the left hand side of the drivers seat... where you get in and out. Anyway, does anyone know of a shop that can repair it? I've seen all the do it yourself repair kits but I saw one that someone did them selves and it looked really bad. I don't want to take the chance. Any advice on where to take it?

Thanks for any help!

Oh, I also work Sun-Wed every week. Are there any drives or meets on Fridays or Saturdays? Thanks again

we should make a monthly or biweekly meet in the Roseville area (plenty of food and stuff there) for the Sac people!
