jesus. how many miles is that a week? i feel bad putting a lot of miles on my z.

i'm thinking a datsun 620 pickup, 510 wagon, or subaru forester. it really depends on what i find first or when i find it. if i got a car now it would be the forester, but in a few months when i don't need to drive long distances as much i'd rather go with one of the datsuns. i've wanted a 510 since i was 12 and was about to get one for my first car but the dude flaked on me and i gave up. last weekend i helped my buddy lower his 620 and it cost us all of $35 to drop it 3 inches. the ease of working on them is what i like. and i want to build an l28...

Decent dry and good wet grip, but way too mushy in corners.

I've been looking at the Conti Extreme DW's http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ire=445YR8ECDW They seem to be getting good reviews on Tire Rack and though there was only 1 350z review, there were a few G coupe reviews and they all seemed to like the tire as well.
I have Nitto T555ZR's and they are total sex in the summer. Turn to glue. And in the winter they're insane fun as well because I can't keep my *** straight to save my life.

Actually, on second thought, they're kinda deadly in the winter bro. lol

You don't live in Sac, you live in Elk Grove. Don't insult yourself like that.

HAHA somehow I knew someone was going to say that. I found those on tire rack after asking about the Conti's and realizing there was still one section up in performance. So I should also mention, my Z is my DD so it has to be able to handle the rain we get in the winter. I don't mind having to be more careful in the rain, I just don't want to have to turn into the granny doing 50 in the slow lane in my Z because it's doing more than sprinkling. The Conti's looked like a good tread pattern and got some great wet weather reviews, the RE-11's tread pattern makes me a bit nervous. Are you and Hal using the RE-11's on your 370's?

i hate putting that many miles on it, but my Datsun just isnt up to the challenge of daily driving yet.. my vote goes to the 510 btw, yes im a little biased but youll save money on gas, be able to do whatever you want with it and not have to worry about smog and such, and most Datsun's are cheap to fix/work on... and i love your Z.

Looks like a N fell off of my typing. I drive like a banshee so I break them loose all the time in the rain. Add road paint like the stripes across an intersection to the rain, and its all over for me. lol

Putt'n a vote in for the Hankook Ventus. Got bout 1k on em and they handle nicely and are so much quieter than the Pilot sports. Reasonably priced too.

I have general exclaim UHP's and they have lasted days and handle great! On my other wheels I have bridgestone potenzas which seem like they break loose easier lol.
So we should all seriously have a meet with our Z's. Anyone down?? And I mean a "Z" meet lol

Oh for realz! There's about 4 man hole covers on the way home that I have to straddle and keep the tires off of. And the Taylor exit of 80 is hella funny in the rain because the bridge connects to the land portion of the road with a metal piece that goes across the street.
